JOB OVERVIEW:
As the Human Resources Assistant Manager at Landmark Group Hospitality in Saudi
Arabia, I oversee HR operations for a dynamic team of 400 staff across 18 diverse outlets, including
renowned brands such as Nando’s, Fitness First, and Zafran Indian Kitchen. In this pivotal role, I am
committed to aligning HR policies and practices with corporate objectives while nurturing a positive
workplace culture. My responsibilities encompass recruitment, employee relations, payroll
management, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws, all
aimed at fostering an engaged and high-performing workforce.
KEY RESPONSI BILITI ES:
RECRUITMENT AND HIRING:
• Oversee the recruitment process from job posting, sourcing, and interviews to final
selection.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and recruit top talent.
• Manage employer branding to attract quality candidates.
ONBOARDING:
• Ensure smooth onboarding processes, from offer letter generation to new hire
integration.
• Create and update onboarding documentation.
• Monitor probationary periods and conduct follow-up evaluations.
HR ORIENTATION PRESENTATION:
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive HR orientation sessions for new employees.
• Educate new hires on company policies, code of conduct, and benefits.
PAYROLL:
• payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
• Address any payroll-related discrepancies and resolve employee payroll inquiries.
FFS & LEAVE MANAGEMENT:
• Manage end-of-service benefits (FFS) in accordance with local labor laws.
• leave tracking, vacation, sick, Maternity, and emergency leaves.
EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
• Promote a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and
disputes in a timely manner.
• Foster strong communication between management and employees.
• Handle sensitive employee relations issues with confidentiality and
professionalism.
MAINTAIN COMPANY CULTURE/POLICY:
• Uphold and promote the company’s culture, ensuring alignment with its mission
and values.
• Regularly review and update company policies to reflect best practices and ensure
legal compliance.
MANAGE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement
plans, and other perks.
• Ensure employees are well-informed of the benefits available to them.
• Conduct periodic reviews of benefits offerings and recommend improvements.
DAY-TO-DAY HR OPERATIONS:
• Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring efficiency in processes like attendance
tracking, employee records management, and HR reporting.
• Address employee inquiries and ensure smooth operational workflow.
HANDLE DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS:
• Manage disciplinary procedures in line with company policies.
• Investigate and resolve misconduct issues in a fair and consistent manner.
• Implement corrective actions when necessary and maintain proper documentation.
INSURANCE:
• Administer employee insurance programs, including health, disability, and life
insurance.
• Work with insurance providers to ensure timely renewals and optimal coverage for
employees.
• Address employee queries related to insurance benefits.
