I interned at the Dubai Police Headquarters over the summer, in their criminology and forensic psychology department. It was a research-based internship, which allowed me to conduct my own research on the psychological impact of incarceration on juvenile re-entry. Alongside my research, I also worked on several ongoing cases. This included conducting MMPI, as well as other personality tests and reporting results, transcribing inmate interviews, and other day-to-day tasks within the department.

I was the personal assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, which in itself was an incredible learning experience. Responsibilities included communicating with clients, minutes of meetings, coordinating with suppliers, organizing meetings and calendars, following up on office employees’ tasks, and much more.

Responsibilities included monitoring department emails, providing administrative and logistical support during events, supporting the department with the administrative tasks needed to manage programs, documentation and organization of relevant documents, etc.
