I’m Ahmed Usman, a seasoned banker with 19 years of experience in commercial banking and microfinance. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong expertise in branch operations, internal controls, collections, HR operations, learning and development, digitalization initiatives, customer experience, and complaint resolution.
As a leader, I’ve had the opportunity to hold various roles, including Area Operations Manager at U-Microfinance Bank, Unit Head HR at Wave Logistics, and Manager of Trainings & Organizational Development at FINCA Microfinance Bank. My experience also spans regional management, operations, and credit control roles at prominent banks like United Bank Limited and Standard Chartered Bank.
My skills include understanding business dynamics, strategic thinking, internal audit, stress management, collections and recovery, team building and motivation, and leadership and team management.
