I have been associated with the international development sector for the past 15 years. I have experience in the areas of Monitoring and Evaluation, International Development, Livelihoods, Economic and Social Development, Women Economic Empowerment, Gender Mainstreaming, Education, Peace Building, Entrepreneurship, Environment and Youth Empowerment.
I am currently working as the Account Development Manager at MCG Technologies. Kloud7 is a Nationwide Telecommunications Service provider that offers reliable services to any business. The aim is to reinvent the telecommunication needs by providing turn-key solutions powered by industry leading technology. As the Account Development Manager, I play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and nurturing potential clients and expanding existing customer accounts. I am responsible for building relationships, developing sales strategies, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Previously I was working as the Business Development/HR Manager at Cynosure International. I was responsible for coordinating new business development, building teams of experts for new projects and manage the staff recruitment, selection, documentation, training and facilitation. During my course of working with Cynosure, I have successfully contributed to over 50 projects and have found over 600 experts from all over the world in various areas and expertise. I am very well versed in the international development sector and have extensive experience in building clientele, as I have been involved in team development of UN and other reputable international development agencies. Some of the notable clients include: Multi-lateral donors (World Bank, ADB, AfDB, KfW), UN agencies (UNIDO, FAO, IFAD, ILO, WFP, UNDP, UNICEF, UNHABITAT, UN Women), bi-later donors (JICA, KfW, USAID, CIDA, SIDA, AusAid), and international NGOs (Winrock International, Conservation International, Save the Children, Care, Oxfam G.B., Relief International).
Prior to working at Cynosure, I was a part of the US State Department’s largest project for women entrepreneurship and empowerment known as WECREATE Pakistan (an initiative being implemented in 12 different countries). Working at WECREATE, I played an instrumental role in overseeing the various women-led start-ups incubated and had the responsibility of running the Startup Academy, specifically designed to accelerate the start-up process by walking entrepreneurs through the universal steps required to build a company. I have also worked with Shaoor Foundation, UNDP, Search for Common Ground (SFCG), HHRD, ASK Development and provided consultancy to many organizations. I have been a trainer and speaker on many national and international programs including UN-APCICT conference in Korea on women entrepreneurship and empowerment. I am fluent in English and Urdu and enjoys intermediate proficiency in Pashto.

As a Business Development Manager, I am the first point of contact a new potential client when they are seeking information on the products and services my company provides. I am primarily responsible for driving business growth and duties vary on a day-to-day basis.
