At Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder, Islamabad, I worked as a Senior Tax Supervisor from November 2009 to December 2012. During this time, I was responsible for preparing and filing corporate and non-corporate income tax returns, including the computation of taxable income, liabilities, and depreciation schedules. I reviewed statutory withholding tax statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. My role also involved direct coordination with clients and tax authorities. This experience strengthened my technical tax knowledge, client communication skills.

At Haidri Beverages (Pvt) Ltd, a franchise of Pepsi-Cola International, I served as an Internal Audit Officer from May 2016 to May 2019. My responsibilities included conducting internal audits to ensure accuracy in cash collections and identifying cross-franchising activities. I regularly reconciled sales data with cash collections and verified distributor incentives to ensure compliance with company policies. I audited sales staff calculations, reviewed cheque payments, and assessed the accuracy and legitimacy of financial transactions. Additionally, I conducted physical inventory stock takes and ensured proper withholding tax compliance.

At Yousaf Adil (Deloitte), Islamabad, I worked as a Senior Consultant in the Tax & Legal department from June 2019 to December 2020. In this role, I was responsible for preparing and filing corporate and sales tax returns, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations. I liaised with tax authorities to resolve client queries and maintain accurate tax positions. My responsibilities also included preparing payroll, maintaining detailed financial records, and generating periodic financial statements and tax computations.

At RAK Services, Rawalpindi, I have held multiple roles since joining in November 2021, each contributing to my professional growth and broadening my expertise in finance, audit, and administration. Starting as an Accounts Executive, I managed bookkeeping, payables and receivables, and handled special analytical assignments. I was then promoted to Team Lead – Audit, where I collaborated with internal teams to conduct financial and operational audits, analyzed AR/AP and revenue accounts, and ensured the accuracy of profit and loss statements through detailed verification. Later, as Manager Admin & Accounts, I took charge of full-cycle bookkeeping, monthly financial closing, payroll, sales tax filings, cash flow management, and office administration, while also leading recruitment and performance evaluations. Currently serving as Finance & Property Coordinator, I oversee budgeting, tenant account reconciliations, rent collection, maintenance agreements, and coordination with auditors for financial reporting. I’ve also led IT and quality assurance initiatives, demonstrating my ability to manage cross-functional responsibilities effectively.
