• Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial reports to the board of directors and investors, ensuring all information is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards. • Work closely with the executive leadership team to identify and mitigate financial risks, assess new business opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations on financial policies, capital allocation, and corporate growth initiatives. • Manage financial operations for a dual entity fintech structure, including a licensed NBFC and a digital ROSCA platform, ensuring robust compliance and risk management practices. • Collaborate with SECP to draft first-of-its-kind regulations for ROSCAs in Pakistan, ensuring the framework aligns with fintech innovation while addressing regulatory and consumer protection requirements. As Financial Controller, I support the CEO in structuring proposals and financial compliance guidelines for these discussions. • Liaise with regulators such as SECP, PSX and SBP to ensure timely and accurate submission of data and proactive engagement on emerging compliance expectations. • Lead the financial system architecture for a closed-loop digital wallet, providing end-to-end technical oversight on ledger design, accounting integration, and audit readiness. • Provide executive oversight of financial reporting and P&L management, ensuring rigorous financial controls, strategic performance analysis, and data-driven insights to drive profitability, optimize cost structures, and support high-level decision-making. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering and product) to integrate financial strategy with product development and customer-centric initiatives, leveraging automation and technology to optimize operational costs and improve customer experience.
