• Project Execution and Coordination: Leads the monitoring and oversight of the EPC Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor Team field planning, coordination and execution activities within designated area of responsibility across all disciplines. Oversee and coordinate electrical and instrumentation (E&I) installation, testing, and commissioning activities at the project site. Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. • Design and Specification Review: Review E&I engineering drawings (e.g. Equipment GA drawings, SLDs, Wiring Diagrams, Cable schedules, Cabling Diagrams, Cable termination reports, P&IDs, Loop Diagram, and associated control logic, Cubicle diagrams, technical specifications, datasheets, and all other projects related documents), specifications, and vendor documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements. Identify potential issues and provide solutions to optimize design and installation. • Vendor and Equipment Management: Oversee the delivery, storage, and installation of E&I materials and equipment. Coordinate with vendors for timely resolution of equipment-related issues. • Site Supervision & Technical Support: Monitor and supervise subcontractors and site labor during E&I installation work. Ensure adherence to approved methodologies, standards, and best practices. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for field instruments, valves, F&G systems, and SIS & Marshalling cabinet site and other E&I issues during construction and commissioning phases. Interface with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical queries and ensure proper installation and integration of E&I systems. • Testing and Commissioning: Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Verify system performance, functionality, and reliability through rigorous testing procedures. • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work complies with local and international standards, codes, and client specifications. Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and as-built documentation. • Safety and Quality Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to site safety protocols and quality management systems. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks. • Communication: Act as the point of contact between the client and project team for E&I-related activities. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones. Provide feedback to design and engineering teams for future project optimization.

• Preparation and Planning: Develop and implement Mechanical Completion (MC) procedures for instrumentation systems in line with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. Review and approve commissioning deliverables such as checklists, test plans, and inspection records. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all instrumentation installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Verify that quality documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), calibration certificates, and test records are complete and accurate. Conduct inspections to confirm proper installation, calibration, and configuration of instrumentation systems. • Mechanical Completion Execution: Perform system walkdowns to identify punch items and ensure resolution before system handover. Conduct mechanical completion checks for instrumentation systems, including loop checks, continuity tests, and grounding verification. Interface with subcontractors to monitor and validate their progress and ensure timely completion of MC activities. • Coordination and Communication: Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings with MC Manager, MC coordinator, customers, subcontractors, and vendors to provide updates on MC progress and resolve issues. Ensure seamless interface between mechanical completion and commissioning phases. Ensure timely closure of all punch items (ITR-A&B Punches) and alignment with project handover requirements. • Documentation and Handover: Prepare and maintain detailed records of MC activities, including punch lists, test reports, and completion certificates. Ensure all required documentation is compiled and handed over to the commissioning team. Supported the construction team, subcontractors, and vendors in installing the instruments of refurbishment and conversion unit to complete ‘A&B’ scope ITRs, Inspection, and Punch List operations for sub-system final handover. • Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhered to all relevant safety protocols, PTW system confirmed the safety procedures and legal codes to ensure proper equipment operation and minimize the risk of damage to property, personnel, and the environment during MC activities. Identify and mitigate hazards associated with the instrumentation systems during the MC process. • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during the MC process. Support construction and commissioning teams in resolving cross-disciplinary challenges.

• Project Planning and Execution: Review project specifications, drawings, vendor documents, and schedules for the replacement of UPS, batteries, and F&G devices, and recommending appropriate solutions and proposing changes as necessary within the defined project scope. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements. Coordinate with the project team to prepare the necessary resources, including tools, equipment, and manpower, for shutdown activities. • Technical Supervision and Inspection: Ensure pre-shutdown inspection of redundant UPS systems, batteries, and fire & gas (F&G) devices. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of redundant UPS systems, batteries, and fire & gas (F&G) devices. • Assisted subordinates or sub-contractors and monitored construction of UPS Panel installation in control buildings, building fire alarm system installation, F&G device installation, replacement of obsolete non-redundant UPS & batteries, VESDA modification, JB installation, cable tray installation, pulling, laying in trays/trenches, cable glanding and termination for all systems, power-up of all systems inside the FAR (Field Auxiliary room) buildings. • Testing and Commissioning: Ensure proper calibration, perform loop checks, functional tests, and commissioning activities to verify system performance of all instrumentation in line with specifications. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of instruments into the control system. • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Provide technical support to construction teams and resolve site queries. • Quality Assurance and Documentation: Ensure that all instrumentation activities are carried out in compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. Prepare, review and maintain as-built documentation, accurate records of instrument installation, datasheets, calibration reports, and test certificates. Ensure timely submission of as-built documentation after modifications or repairs. • Team Coordination: Liaise with clients, project teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of E&I systems. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution of E&I tasks. Provide technical support to the operations team during the shutdown phase. • Permit to Work (PTW) System Management & Coordination: Implement and manage the PTW system in compliance with project and safety requirements. Ensure all permits are properly documented, authorized, and tracked for ongoing activities. Liaise with the client’s operations team to ensure that permits are issued in a timely manner and cover all aspects of the job. • Risk Assessment and Safety Compliance: Facilitate and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for activities requiring PTW. Verify that all safety precautions, including isolations, LOTO, and equipment readiness, are in place before work begins. Ensure all activities under the PTW system are executed safely and within defined boundaries. Collaborate with site teams to identify potential risks associated with shutdown activities and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented. Conduct daily PTW meetings, JSA and toolbox talks before initiating work. Ensure effective communication between various departments (e.g., operations, maintenance, safety, and contractors) regarding PTW processes. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of PTWs, isolation certificates, and associated documents. Maintain a comprehensive log of all issued permits, work completed, and any incidents or deviations.

• Vendor Document Evaluation: Assessed vendor documents for VFD, PLC, RTU panels, and water analyzers, including General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), Sample system diagrams, Power supply and wiring diagrams, Serial interface block diagrams, Sample flow calculations, Probe General Arrangement (GA) and wake frequency calculations, and Bill of Materials. Marked up engineering queries, commissioning plans, system boundary drawings, startup plans, and system completion documentation. • Supervision and Field Operations: Guided subordinates and subcontractors during the installation of Control panels, Building fire alarm systems, Fire & Gas (F&G) devices, and Electrical panels. Reviewed engineering drawings, work orders, specifications, and technical data. Directed multi-skilled teams for the installation, repair, maintenance, or modification of equipment/components per project requirements. • System Handover and Inspection: Completed 'A&B' scope Inspection Test Records (ITRs), walk-downs, inspections, and punch lists for subsystem handover. Developed red markups for on-site changes in Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Wiring diagrams, Instrumentation drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Loop drawings. • Software Development Support: Assisted Lead Automation & Control System Engineers in Developing PLC and HMI application software, Providing detailed task breakdowns, Ensuring adherence to standardization requirements. • SCADA Integration: Managed SCADA integration and monitoring of electrical systems, including Transformers, MV & LV Panels, Motor control centers, 11K switchgear, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and soft starter panels. • Issue Resolution and Documentation: Resolved field design issues and discrepancies. Collaborated with customers to prepare Mechanical Completion dossiers, Commissioning Handover dossiers, and System handover documentation. • Manual and Training Development: Created operations, maintenance, and training manuals for all project disciplines of the Water Reservoir & Pumping Station Project for the KAHRAMAA end user. • Compliance with Standards: Ensured day-to-day operations adhered to established departmental standards and procedures.
