PROJECT OVERVIEW: Led the management and development of Korangi Creek Industrial Park, a 220-acre Special
Economic Zone (SEZ) under the SEZ Act.
• INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT:
✓ Spearheaded infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and building construction within KCIP, ensuring
compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
✓ Supervised planning, execution, and quality control of all construction projects, ensuring alignment with
approved plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• SEZ LAWS &REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
✓ Ensured adherence to SEZ regulations, including compliance with the SEZ Act and other legal frameworks
governing the operation of industrial zones.
✓ Maintained a strong command over the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) by-laws, Cantonment
Board Korangi Creek regulations (CBKC), Special Economic Zone Act 2012 amended in 2015, and the
Customer Service Manual of the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (2021) (NEPRA) to ensure
compliance in infrastructure development, licensing, and utility operations
✓ Managed approvals and compliance for building plans, construction permits, and environmental regulations.
• ZONAL ENTERPRISE LICENSING &LAND ALLOTMENT:
✓ Oversaw the allotment of land within the industrial park, working with Zonal Enterprises to negotiate and
finalize License Agreements, Sublease Agreements, and other contractual obligations.
✓ Coordinated with relevant stakeholders to issue permits and licenses required to operate within the SEZ
framework.
• UTILITIES & MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS:
✓ Managed the provision of essential utilities (electricity, gas, water) to industrial units within KCIP, including the
management of an 11 KV underground line, distribution network, RMUs, MDS, and Substation.
✓ Oversaw preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, pumps, firefighting systems, and
other utility infrastructure
✓ Ensured ongoing maintenance of KCIP’s infrastructure, overseeing preventive maintenance and Breakdown
Maintenance for roads, electrical systems, and other key facilities.
• STAKEHOLDER &VENDOR MANAGEMENT:
✓ Acted as the primary point of contact between investors, Zonal Enterprises, government bodies, and service
providers, ensuring efficient communication and resolution of issues.
✓ Managed contracts with external contractors, utility providers, and service vendors to develop and maintain
park infrastructure.
• COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP &INDUSTRY REPRESENTATION:
✓ Convener, Zone Committee (KCIP): Led the Zone Committee, responsible for coordinating with industrial units,
resolving concerns, and driving initiatives to support Zonal Enterprises within KCIP.
✓ Member, Standing Committee, Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI): Actively represented KCIP in
KATI’s Standing Committee, collaborating with industry stakeholders, advocating for infrastructure
improvements, and ensuring alignment with trade and industry standards.
• CURRENT PROJECT – KCIP:
At KCIP, we are executing key infrastructure upgrades to support industrial expansion:
✓ Renewable Energy: Implementing solar and wind power solutions to generate up to 10 MW of clean energy,
addressing the growing energy demand.
✓ Sewerage System: Upgrading the entire sewerage network with a Combined Effluent Treatment Plant
(CETP) to ensure sustainable waste management.

✓ Electrical Network: Upgrading the internal electrical distribution network with SCADA integration for
enhanced monitoring and control.
✓ Water System:Upgrading the water supply network to improve capacity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• REPORTING &COMPLIANCE:
✓ Prepared regular progress reports for stakeholders, including governmental authorities, SEZ committees, and
management.
✓ Ensured compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations during construction and maintenance
activities.
