Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and experienced Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential property. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer service-oriented, and capable of managing all aspects of the property to ensure resident satisfaction, smooth operations, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment complex including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.
  • Supervise and train property management staff to ensure efficient performance.
  • Market and lease available units using rental property marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance.
  • Enforce lease agreements and handle tenant disputes and complaints with professionalism.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and financial reports for the property.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and routine services.
  • Ensure compliance with all local housing laws, regulations, and building codes.
  • Utilize property management software to track lease agreements, payments, and maintenance requests.
  • Develop and implement community-building initiatives to improve tenant retention.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an apartment or residential property manager
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of local property laws and landlord-tenant regulations
  • Proficient in using property management systems and MS Office
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in real estate management or related field preferred
