Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Monitor network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders.
- Work closely with IT and DevOps teams to embed security controls in system design.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Information Security Specialist, Cybersecurity Analyst, or Security Engineer.
- Strong understanding of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
- Knowledge of cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with encryption technologies, IAM, and authentication systems.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
