QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual testing and automated testing scripts for web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and maintain documentation of results.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing to ensure product stability.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to resolve issues.
• Implement QA best practices and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Identify, record, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards across the SDLC.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and JMeter.
• Knowledge of SQL, scripting, and debugging.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
