Automation Tester – Remote

At Info Resume Edge, we connect top IT talent with leading enterprises across the globe. We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Automation Tester to design, implement, and execute automated testing frameworks that ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing tools, frameworks, and scripting languages, with the ability to work closely with Developers, QA Engineers, and Systems Engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Perform Regression Testing, Performance Testing, API Testing, and Load Testing.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and provide detailed defect reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify risks and ensure test coverage across applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to optimize testing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with QA best practices and software development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Tester, QA Automation Engineer, or SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test).
• Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, Postman.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• ISTQB Automation Certification or equivalent is a plus.
