Test Engineer – Remote

Job Description

At Info Resume Edge, we partner with global organizations to hire top-tier IT talent. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Test Engineer to design, implement, and execute test strategies that ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software products.

The successful candidate will have expertise in both manual testing and automation testing, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end test plans for applications across web, desktop, cloud, and mobile platforms.
• Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or JMeter.
• Collaborate with Developers, Systems Engineers, and QA Analysts to ensure complete test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using industry-standard tools (Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing feedback on quality, risks, and release readiness.
• Ensure compliance with QA best practices and security guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or Software Tester.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
