About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team and support young learners in grades Kindergarten through 4th. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that encourages academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons across core subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies)
- Develop and implement instructional strategies aligned with state standards and school curriculum
- Foster a positive classroom climate with strong behavior management techniques
- Assess student progress regularly and provide individualized support where needed
- Use technology and creative instructional tools to enhance learning experiences
- Communicate proactively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and well-being
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure holistic student development
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities
- Maintain accurate records, grades, and documentation as required by school policy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required)
- Valid state teaching certification or ability to obtain certification (required)
- Prior teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- Passion for early childhood education and culturally responsive teaching
Preferred Skills
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive education
- Familiarity with modern classroom technology (Google Classroom, Smart Boards, etc.)
- Understanding of child development principles and social-emotional learning
- Ability to create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment
