About Candidate

My name is Camille Burns and I am a recent Master’s graduate who has published in the field of behavioral endocrinology and social neuroscience. I spent the last two years as a senior member of the Behavioral Endocrinology Laboratory at Cal Poly Humboldt, where I lead research from conceptualization to publication and worked as a teaching assistant for an advanced research methods course. My work focused mainly on hormonal predictors of women’s psychosocial health; however, I have also experience in group processes, social identity, stress, and kinesiology. I have several first-authored works, including a full scale development and validation project, and have expertise in the critique and development of methodology within social science. I have strong quantitative research skills and am experienced running and teaching advanced statistical analysis in R, as well as collecting and analyzing hormonal data (ELISA). I am well-equipped to perform literature reviews, analyze large datasets, develop and present scientific data, and author manuscripts for publication. Thank you very much for your consideration!
