• Conducted online survey-based research and analysis for dozens of large and midsize B2B and B2C corporate clients across a variety of industries including, but not limited to, food and beverage, textbooks/educational materials, construction, agriculture, automotive, manufacturing, industrials, and information technology (IT). • Drafted survey instruments and made edits based on internal and external feedback that asked questions related to client research needs, i.e., customer satisfaction, product preferences, product design and branding, pricing strategies, shopping experiences, etc. • Programmed and tested survey instruments in Qualtrics. • Conducted data cleaning to ensure the meeting of organizational data quality standards. • Programmed and developed crosstabs of overall and segmented findings using MarketSight. • Used R and RStudio scripts for additional calculations and graphs for select projects using MaxDiff analysis. • Used Power BI for comparing survey results to internally developed industry benchmarks. • Created and edited reports and memos in PowerPoint and Word format analyzing research findings and providing recommendations aimed at addressing client needs. • Made edits and additions to reports made by others based on internal and external feedback. • Stored, shared, and organized project files in shared drive.
• Conducted and supported survey (phone, online, text, IVR, and mixed-mode) and focus group (in-person, online, and phone) research for political candidates, PACs, IEs, ballot initiative campaigns, local school and park districts, labor unions, advocacy/lobbying organizations, and other largely non-profit clients (including those operating in the education, healthcare, civil rights, labor rights, criminal justice reform, and environmental spaces). These projects typically asked questions about favorability, job approval, policy positions, and potential votes while also testing different messaging around candidates or policy proposals. • Drafted, edited, and proofed research proposals, pricing memos, survey instruments, screeners, discussion guides, crosstab specs, weight sheets, research memos, and PowerPoint-based reports and presentations. • Proofread and gave edits to crosstabs and toplines, as well as proposals, survey instruments, discussion guides, memos, reports, and presentations written by others. • Assisted with programming surveys into Decipher. • Conducted Internet research and produced graphics for presentations using PowerPoint and Excel. • Covered and took notes on calls with clients and on presentations and events given by outside and partner organizations. • Performed project management and administrative tasks as needed, including mapping timelines and processes using Wrike and Quickbase. • Helped assign and review the work of interns. • Monitored phone bank survey calls to ensure that they were being conducted properly. • Moderated online bulletin board discussions. • Stored, shared, and organized project files in shared drive.
