About Candidate
My name is Felix Worthen. I am a recent graduate, having just obtained my MLIS. I have worked in academic libraries and the archival branch of a municipal library in roles that had me writing and managing metadata for information resources with the objective of making them available for study and research. My MLIS studies and my years in academia have equipped me with a robust suite of research skills such as literature review and information literacy. I am well-versed in Microsoft Suite tools like Excel, and I have familiarity with R which I am more than happy to revisit in order to better my skillset. I have plenty of experience creating attractive presentations featuring data visualizations and concise but accurate information summaries. To this end I have used tools such as Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Google Slides, and Powerpoint. I also pride myself on the caliber of my writing and the acuity of my strategic thinking and problem solving skills. I am naturally given to thorough, meticulous task completion. I hope you will consider me for this role, and I look forward to the opportunity to support your team.
