About Candidate
I am a mathematics, economics, and IT educator who has been working with students for over three years. I pride myself in making frustrating topic for students less confusing using different practice problems that engage different learning styles and have the student receive hands on practice. The practice problems I create are pulled from a combination of my knowledge of mathematics and economics and observations I have made about what types of problems and learning work best for the majority of students by working with students ranging from 13-75 years old for over three years. Additionally, to every education opportunity I bring passion and a drive to continuously learn how I can better support my students and grow as an educator through listening to my students and analyzing their student metrics throughout the quarters and semesters I work with them. My goal as an educator is to build student’s self-confidence in their ability to learn while decreasing the frustration they experience with difficult subject such as mathematics and economics.

● Manage 15-50 TA’s per quarter by providing information and support for their individual courses in our group question chat along with check in meetings ● Meet with lead business instructor and other lead business and economic teaching assisstants bi-weekly to discuss student and TA problems, trends, and concerns to trouble shoot and solve ● Create a database along with another Lead TA that contains assignment descriptions, example problems, student work examples, and examples of AI/plagiarism as a tool for TA’s ● Aid in product testing new studying tools for students
