Led the design and development of critical utility systems (e.g., absorption chillers, fire tube boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, water treatment, and steam generation) in collaboration with engineering teams and consultants to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
– Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians responsible for utility system operations and maintenance. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
– Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers to meet utility requirements and address their needs. Liaise with utility service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage service-level agreements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of utility-related issues, projects, and performance.
– Manage utility-related projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project execution. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
– Develop and manage budgets for utility operations, maintenance, and capital projects. Monitor expenditures, track costs, and optimize spending to achieve cost-effective operation and maintenance of utility systems. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and justifications for capital expenditures.
– Maintain and create accurate records and documentation related to utility systems, including design specifications, maintenance logs, inspection reports, SOP’s and regulatory compliance records. Generate periodic reports on system performance, key performance indicators, and project updates for management and stakeholders
