About Candidate
I’m a passionate robotics engineer and AI enthusiast from Saudi Arabia. As part of the Saudi One robotics team, I had the honor of representing my country on the global stage, where we proudly earned 5th place worldwide in the VEX AI Skills competition. Our journey was recognized by the Minister of Industry, and it inspired me to keep pushing the limits of innovation and teamwork.
My experience spans hands-on robotics work, from programming microcontrollers and developing swarm robotics systems to integrating ROS and creating intelligent visualizers connected to real robots. During my training at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), I gained deep practical knowledge working with both simulated and real robotic platforms.
I’m especially passionate about applying AI in meaningful ways. One of my recent projects involved building an AI-powered smart sprinkler system that adjusts watering based on plant type, growth stage, and weather conditions.
Beyond technical work, I love giving back. I’ve trained teams, organized free workshops, and launched charitable initiatives to spread robotics education across Saudi Arabia. I also lead the Technology Committee in my university’s Drones and Robotics Club, and I actively contribute to various student organizations in esports, public relations, and innovation.
I’ve been fortunate to earn several awards, including first place in the MIT Hackathon (mental health track), second place in the Saudi Games, and recognition for IoT innovation with SASCO. Each experience has fueled my passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.

Work & Experience
- Supported configuration and optimization of robotic solutions at customer facilities to meet project requirements. - Configure and troubleshoot software systems to ensure seamless integration and deployment. - Integrated multiple technologies, mainstreaming data-sharing, and leveraging computer vision for object various tasks.
- Completed CO-OP training at KACST in the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Institute, gaining hands-on experience in configuring Linux Ubuntu, working with ROS, and engaging with the robotics community. - Programmed and simulated complex robot operations using RB Kairos and UR5e in Gazebo, transitioning to real-world robot deployment with SLAM and April tag scanning.
- Participated in the biggest robotics competition called VEX Robotics Competition, representing Saudi Arabia among 120 teams from over 60 countries and got 5th in VEXAI skills division. - As the lead programmer, contributed to securing second place in the robotics category at the 2023 Saudi Olympics earning a prize of 300,000 SAR. - Constructed and programmed robots integrating sensors, motors, mechanical and electronic components.
- Reviewing documents for legal and syntactic accuracy. - Managed document upload process to the SAB system and distributed it to the team as an administrator. - Visited all departments within corporate operations and received comprehensive training from both my branch and the main branch.
- Served as a sales officer at SYAG promoting high quality members to entities. - Assigned to researching and negotiating potential entities that could provide volunteering, organizing, and job opportunities for our members or could need our marketing services.
