Work & Experience
I worked with the research team to perform a variety of research and analysis tasks for Waterford.org, an educational nonprofit providing early learning reading and math programs. Among these tasks, I 1) Collected student assessment data (both from in-person testing methods and extraction from databases), cleaned data, and quantitatively analyzed results (using SPSS, Excel, and Power BI); 2) Created surveys (item text and logic), wrote focus group protocols, and conducted remote usability testing sessions, performing qualitative analysis of feedback afterward; 3) Collaborated with the team to write reports of our research for publication to peer-reviewed journals, presentation to industry conferences, and for internal white papers -- involving literature reviews utilizing reference management software (i.e., Zotero); and 4) Composed documentation needed for IRB approval and compliance, including protocol overviews and consent forms.
