About Candidate

I’m planning to become a Research Assistant/ Analyst with an MA in Sociology (3.9 GPA), focused on medical sociology and health equity. I use mixed methods—quantitative analysis (SPSS/Excel) and qualitative research—to turn complex data into clear, decision‑ready insights that improve access and outcomes for families and communities.

Recent work includes a mental health capstone analyzing disparities in care across Hamilton County (quant + qual, data visualization), an independent study in medical sociology with evidence‑based conclusions, and research on prenatal development examining maternal health, nutrition, and environmental influences. Beyond academics, I am working with infant–Pre‑K development at the YMCA, partnering with parents, documenting milestones, and maintaining safe, nurturing environments.

I’m seeking research roles where I can contribute literature reviews, data cleaning/analysis, qualitative coding, visualization, and concise reporting to support evidence‑based programs and policy.
