I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied Health Science at Brigham Young University - Idaho, with an expected graduation date in April 2025. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices essential for promoting health and preventing disease within communities. Throughout my studies, I have gained in-depth knowledge in various areas, including public health, health promotion, epidemiology, and environmental health. The curriculum emphasizes the application of scientific research to real-world health challenges, equipping me with the skills needed to analyze health data, assess community health needs, and develop effective health interventions. My coursework has included hands-on experiences and projects that have allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. I have successfully completed the International General Certificate in Occupational Health, awarded by NEBOSH at the Leaders Training Centre. This certification provided me with a comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety principles. The program covered critical topics such as risk assessment, health and safety legislation, and the management of workplace hazards. Through this training, I developed the skills necessary to identify and mitigate risks in various work environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This certification has significantly enhanced my ability to promote a culture of safety and well-being in the workplace.

I have earned a Diploma in Environmental Health Science from the School of Hygiene in Mbale, Uganda. This program provided me with a solid foundation in environmental health principles and practices, focusing on the relationship between the environment and public health. Throughout my studies, I gained knowledge in areas such as sanitation, waste management, food safety, and disease prevention. The curriculum emphasized practical applications, enabling me to conduct environmental assessments and implement health promotion strategies within communities.
