I bring extremely strong research, data collection, and data analysis skills that I think would be perfect for the role of research assistant.
I studied History at George Mason University, where I learned the skills of research and information/data analysis. Ultimately I graduated with a 3.56 GPA.
I moved into teaching, where I taught both General Education and Special Education in different years. Teaching Special Education involved a large amount of data collection, analysis, and presentation in order to help develop the most efficient Individual Education Plans for students. I believe this skill would transfer very well to the roll of Research Assistant.
As well as my experience with research and data collection, I believe that my communication skills are my most valuable professional asset. I thrive in the areas of written and spoken communication and relish the opportunity to work and communicate with other driven individuals.

Work & Experience
Performing remote drone roof inspections to assess storm damage and natural aging. Advising, educating and assisting homeowners who request roof replacements, and consulting with homeowners on insurance claims.
Instruction of 6th grade curriculum in core content areas (Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science). Instruction of Specialized Curriculum intended to address individual IEP goals and specific goals. Development of IEPs with individual IEP teams to assess and meet specific needs as they arose. By the end of the year, I was able to assist a student in passing a math SOL for the first time.
Instruction of 7th Grade Social Skills Curriculum through various methods. Keeping grades and contact with parents. Classroom management of over 110 students daily. Performance in this role led to me being offered another year contract with the same school.
