About Candidate

With over 15 years of teaching experience across multiple disciplines—particularly in mathematics and psychology—I have held various academic and leadership roles, including overseeing student development, coordinating academic programs, and supporting student well-being. In my current role, I teach mathematics while applying dynamic, student-centered strategies that promote critical thinking and academic engagement.

My passion for psychology is matched by a commitment to fostering emotionally supportive and intellectually rigorous learning environments, especially for adolescents. I hold multiple certifications in psychology and related fields from leading international universities through platforms such as Coursera. My teaching philosophy centers on connecting psychological theory with real-world application, helping students build reflective and analytical thinking skills.

I have a natural ability to connect with students in Grades 7 through 12, offering them mentorship and guidance. My approach emphasizes empathy, trust, and personal growth, allowing students to thrive both academically and emotionally. I take pride in creating a safe space where they can explore ideas, ask questions, and develop essential life skills through the lens of psychology.

In addition to my PhD, I have completed a postgraduate program in Special Education Tools and am currently pursuing a second postgraduate program in Special Education. I remain actively engaged in professional development through international conferences and webinars, including those focused on the International Baccalaureate (IB), to stay in tune with global best practices in education.

My experience includes working with students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, creating inclusive and respectful classroom environments. I have also completed training with organizations focused on inclusive citizenship and the values of mutual respect—principles that I believe are foundational to any thriving academic community.

I am currently seeking a new professional home where I can contribute meaningfully to a forward-thinking and diverse educational institution. It would be an honor to bring my dedication, creativity, and cross-disciplinary expertise to your team.

Thank you once again for this opportunity. I look forward to the possibility of speaking with you further about how I can contribute to your community.

Sincerely,
Tarek El Baba
