During my internship at the center, I observed and supported children with disabilities in an educational setting. I conducted clinical evaluations to assess their cognitive, emotional, and developmental functioning. I also closely observed the role and responsibilities of a clinical psychologist within this type of multidisciplinary structure, gaining valuable insight into psychological care and team collaboration.
During my internship at the regional hospital, I actively participated in staff meetings and assisted in clinical interviews, as well as conducted several interviews with patients myself. I also had the opportunity to lead a training session for the Mental Health Department team on the administration and scoring of selected clinical assessments. This experience enhanced my clinical skills and deepened my understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration in a hospital setting.
During my internship at the children's hospital, I conducted clinical interviews with children and adolescents, participated in multidisciplinary staff meetings, and assisted in psychological assessments. I also provided psychoeducation sessions to support young patients and their families in understanding and managing psychological challenges. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt clinical approaches to the needs of pediatric and adolescent populations.
Within the association, I was responsible for conducting clinical evaluations of children, writing psychological assessment reports, and providing therapeutic support for children, adolescents, and adults. I also led psychoeducational interventions and training sessions for schools, associations, and other community stakeholders. This role allowed me to apply my clinical expertise in diverse contexts while developing strong communication and training skills.
As a clinical psychologist in a Montessori school, I adapt the Montessori approach to meet the needs of children with specific developmental or psychological challenges. My work includes clinical assessments, individualized psychological support, and parental guidance to foster a consistent and supportive environment both at school and at home.
In my current role, I serve as both the pedagogical director and clinical psychologist in a Montessori school. As pedagogical director, I design and oversee the implementation of the Montessori curriculum and activities for the nursery, toddler, and preschool sections. I supervise the teaching team and lead ongoing training sessions in Montessori pedagogy. In my role as a clinical psychologist, I conduct clinical assessments, provide psychological support for children, and adapt the Montessori approach to accommodate their individual challenges. My background in group psychotherapy also supports effective team dynamics and conflict resolution within the school.
