About Candidate
I am a social science researcher with a strong foundation in social work practice, currently pursuing an MSc in European and Global Studies at the University of Padova, with an MRes in Sociology and Demography from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. I am building deeper expertise in political science and public policy, and I am interested in how social protection systems, migration and mobility, and structural inequalities shape people’s life chances, with a particular focus on gender and social stratification. I aim to bring together field insight, policy thinking, and data-driven analysis to support decisions that improve lives.
Key Experience Highlights:
✅ Policy & research foundation: Built strong training in political and social analysis through European and Global Studies and Sociology/Demography, with interests in social security/social protection policy, inequality, and migration.
✅ Data analysis (Stata & SPSS): Conducted quantitative analysis including regression-based work in Stata and broader statistical analysis in SPSS, producing structured outputs (tables, summaries, and decision-ready reporting).
✅ Mixed-methods research: Led and supported projects using interviews, focus groups, participant observation, and online qualitative analysis to identify patterns behind gender inequality and social stratification.
✅ Government-facing reporting: Contributed to final government reports and ongoing documentation for community service programs, turning field evidence into formal deliverables.
✅ Frontline casework & psychosocial support: Delivered elderly-focused casework and psychological support through home visits and follow-ups, grounding analysis in real needs and service outcomes.
✅ Migrant children support (One Foundation project): Supported school-based social work programming for migrant children, including coordination and weekly reporting with stakeholders.
✅ UX research in industry (Foxconn / Nokia): Supported UX survey research and feedback analysis for Nokia smartphone HW/SW update programs, including communication with overseas clients to align priorities and close the feedback loop.
My core strength lies in bridging field realities, analytical rigor, and policy relevance. I’m now exploring career paths as a Policy Analyst, Data/Research Analyst, or social policy-oriented social worker, ideally within European or international institutions working on social protection and social security policies with measurable impact.
