Special Education Teacher/Paraprofessional II

About Candidate

With a Master’s degree in Statistics, an undergraduate degree in Psychology, significant management experience, and dedicated work supporting students with disabilities, I bring a broad and versatile skill-set well suited to this position.
I have a strong foundation in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, data interpretation, and a deep understanding of psychological concepts and research contexts. Although my formal research experience is limited to my graduate coursework, I completed a substantial statistics project that required designing data-collection protocols, analyzing results, and presenting findings in a clear, accessible way to a broad audience. I am passionate about translating my analytical background into meaningful contributions to gathering, collecting and tabulating data to be used for data driven decision making. I am enthusiastic about learning and growing in that capacity while serving my community.

In addition, my experience teaching and working with students with disabilities has honed my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, build inclusive environments, adapt to diverse needs, and support individuals to succeed. These experiences are highly relevant to an environment where collaboration, and clearly communicating with professionals and researchers is important.

I am particularly drawn to this role in because I believe in the power of research and data collection to help inform, educate, impact policies, and change practices. I am excited about the opportunity to merge my statistical background, administrative experience, and interest in psychology into supporting the work of your team. My goal is to contribute not only by maintaining strong operations, but also by growing into a research-support partner who helps make projects succeed.

Thank you for considering my application. I am excited to further discuss how my background, enthusiasm, and dedication can benefit your organization.
