I have over 8 years’ worth of experience in the industrial psychology and medico-legal industry and have been working as a Team Lead for over 5 years in which I specialize in research, psychometric and medico-legal assessments, report writing, team supervision (in-office and remote staff) as well as training and development of staff. Coupled with a strong background in working and liaising with medical experts and attorneys (both private and state), I strongly believe these respective qualities and skills offer me a competitive advantage while also providing lasting value to your organization. As team lead, I have assisted in cultivating a collaborative working environment amongst my team, emphasizing support and information sharing. I take pride in the experience I have garnered in supervising, training and developing the staff within my department and assisting in making an impact in the job. While my skills in research were initially nurtured during my tertiary studies, it was through the exposure to the administration, scoring and interpretation of industrial psychology medicolegal and psychometric assessments that further refined my competencies in empirical evidence gathering, comprehensive research and report compilation. Hailing from a family of academics and professionals, I have been intently inspired to lead a life of continuous learning and development, both in my scholastic and professional career. In respect to the former, I have several qualifications in psychology, namely a BCom Degree in Industrial psychology, BCom Honors Degree in Industrial Psychology as well as BA Honors Degree in Psychology. I have also completed various short courses and qualifications through learning and development institutions such as Linkedin, SAMLA (South African Medico-legal Association) SIOPSA (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology of South Africa). I believe that I possess the necessary ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ skills that can add potential and value to your organization whilst also having the opportunity to further learn and develop my knowledge and skillset.
