About Candidate
With a Master of Science in Nutrition Epidemiology and Data Science from Tufts University (expected Dec 2025) and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, I bring a robust foundation in epidemiologic research, statistical modeling, and health data analytics that aligns closely with the analytical rigor and collaborative ethos of Analysis Group.
During my internship at the Food is Medicine Institute, I led a longitudinal analysis investigating the role of gut microbiome-derived uremic toxins in chronic kidney disease using CHS and MESA datasets. I engineered reproducible workflows in Stata, managed over 30,000 observations, and developed Cox proportional hazards models with time-varying covariates to estimate risk—demonstrating both technical fluency and scientific curiosity. My work culminated in manuscript contributions for an upcoming peer-reviewed publication.
My academic and research experiences have consistently emphasized the intersection of data science and public health. At Tufts, I conducted a time-series analysis of household food insufficiency using Census Pulse Survey data (n >3 million), applying spline modeling in R to uncover temporal and geographic disparities. Additionally, my work with the NIH All of Us Research Program involved harmonizing genomic and clinical data across diverse populations, reinforcing my commitment to equity-driven, precision health research.
I am particularly drawn to Research Group’s reputation for applying rigorous analytical methods to complex health care challenges and its collaborative, mentorship-driven environment. I am eager to contribute my skills in SAS, R, Stata, and Python, along with my passion for evidence-based policy and market access strategy, to support your clients in making data-informed decisions that improve health outcomes.
Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss how my background and interests align with the goals of Research Group. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your team.
