Working in the capacity of Manager Planning (Costing & Estimation) • Planning & designing HT / LT of new connection schemes for providing supply to Industries, multi storey buildings, Housing Schemes, Individual Houses & etc • Preparation of Proposals of extension of existing 11KV network • Project design review, costing & budgeting of project, BOQ’s, Quality control of construction • Vetting of drawings from HT Operation for inclusion of new PMTs, sub-stations and feeders in 11KV network. • Prepare drawings on AutoCAD & Visio Software • Forecasting & planning schemes for execution based on targets. • Analyzing past trends and current load demand for evaluating future load forecast. • Ensuring Quality and HSE aspects in planning and designing schemes / infrastructure

Working in the capacity of Deputy Manager (Grid System Protection) • Responsible for smooth running of all Grid Stations. • Testing & Commissioning of 11KV Sub-Stations. • Testing of over current relays, Differential relays, Distance relays Under Frequency relays etc. • Testing & Commissioning of Power Transformer with detail stability test. • Detail testing of Power Transformer with all its devices such as Buchholz, Diverter and pressure relief etc. • Testing of Current Transformer & Potential Transformer. • Testing of Capacitor Bank Unit & Neutral Grounding Resistance installed in the Grid Station. • Daily monitoring the tripping of all power trafo and all circuits. • Retrieving of data by communicating with relays. • Daily Fault analysis.

Served as a Shift Engineer in 11 KV Operation Control Room • Load Management of 11Kv Primary distribution Electric System. • Fault localization of both overhead and underground system. • Efficient and economic back feeding of areas on adjacent distribution lines in case of fault in the system. • Co-ordination with various department such as substation maintenance for installation of all types of work of HT switchgears, Panels including 11Kv/400 distribution transformers (Star/Delta) of various ratings; underground cable maintenance for fault localization, jointing of cables of 11Kv/L.T system, Laying and commissioning of HT/LT underground cable network of KESC. • Arrangement of Shutdown on various system improvement proposals and also for fault rectification. • Arrangement of Shutdown for annual preventive maintenance of different 11Kv feeders of the system. • Load flow studies to recommend new overhead and underground distribution lines for system rehabilitation.

Served as an Assistant Manager in Baldia Model Zone. • Responsible for meter reading of industrial consumers above 40kw LT consumers and above 500kw HT consumers. • Testing accuracy of energy meters installed for LT and HT consumers, which includes all CT Operated analog and digital energy meters. • Monitoring of distribution losses of feeders running within sub-division boundaries. • To compile and analyze data of technical nature. • To resolve all billing discrepancies as claimed by Industrial consumers.
