currently working in LINE MAINTENANCE. So far in my journey, I’ve gained knowledge working on many engineering

My goal is to work on Engineering related projects so I can be a part of the industry as it is constantly evolving with many

Led the Line Maintenance (Dispatch Sensitive Defects) team, effectively reducing the average age of open defects from 4 days to less than one day. ● Contributed to developing and improving the data collection process for Dispatch Sensitive CDDs, ensuring defects are handled during the closest ground time. ● Received appreciation awards (Merit NAJM) for troubleshooting and providing solutions on design faults for B777 galley air chillers and for proactively clearing defects on multiple aircraft, ensuring serviceability before departure to enhance passenger satisfaction. ● Responsible for ensuring the operational readiness and safety of aircraft between flights, including conducting thorough pre-flight inspections to assess the condition of various systems and components. ● Diagnosed and resolved minor technical issues promptly to maintain airworthiness and operational efficiency. ● Performed scheduled and unscheduled component replacements, meticulously documenting all maintenance activities for regulatory compliance and historical record-keeping. ● Conducted aircraft towing using specialized equipment, safely maneuvering aircraft on the ground to ensure proper positioning for maintenance or departure. ● Collaborated closely with flight crews and support teams to minimize turnaround times and respond swiftly to any emergency maintenance needs. ● Maintained stringent safety protocols and continuously updated skills through training, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational integrity in aircraft maintenance.
Carried out standard maintenance practices under the supervision of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers within the Base Heavy Maintenance environment. ● Conducted a variety of maintenance checks and tasks while performing C checks on B777 and A380 aircraft. ● Completed and applied various work packages and task cards, adhering to quality standards in accordance with the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). ● Gained familiarity with tasks within the Airframe Trade, including critical tasks such as bolt testing of the vertical stabilizer on the A380 and cargo floorboard replacement on the B777. ● Paid extra attention to reporting and rectifying cabin appearance defects, ensuring high standards across all travel classes (First Class, Business Class, Economy Class, and Premium Economy). ● Provided constant feedback to Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) and shift managers, contributing to increased productivity in future maintenance activities
There were 6 different Aspects of my Job that are as follows: ● Coordinated with operational planning to define maintenance requirements and prints packages for maintenance tasks in a line maintenance environment. ● Audited packages for maintenance tasks and ensures timely closure, sending documents to Technical Records for DFP to be recorded accordingly. ● Planned materials and tracks the movement of any Nil Stock materials, preventing any AOG situations ● Racks planned packages and constantly monitors them until received. ● Planned short-term maintenance tasks in coordination with scheduling, operational planning, and manager line maintenance shift, ensuring tasks are annotated on the STMP sheet for the line team to work on. ● Balances workload, manages parking aircraft, and oversees ACM, avionics, and A&C tasks.
