Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Appliances Advisor to assist customers in selecting home and kitchen appliances that best suit their needs. The ideal candidate should have strong product knowledge, excellent sales skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers to understand their appliance needs and preferences
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements and product features
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of home and kitchen appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, microwaves, and more
- Stay up-to-date with product specifications, energy ratings, and technology trends
- Provide accurate pricing, promotions, financing, and warranty information
- Assist in merchandising and product display to ensure a visually appealing sales floor
- Coordinate with inventory and delivery teams to ensure timely product availability
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and product knowledge
- Help meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Maintain records of customer interactions and follow up as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the appliances or electronics industry
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of major home appliance brands and features
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team-oriented approach
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in product knowledge or technical support are a plus
- Basic computer skills for POS and inventory systems
