We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in legal research, contract drafting, and litigation support, and will work closely with senior attorneys to handle diverse legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare case summaries.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Assist in litigation preparation, including gathering evidence and preparing witness statements.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide legal advice to internal teams and clients on business operations.
- Liaise with external law firms, regulators, and government agencies as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; LLM is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and litigation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
