About the role

This role places you in the heart of the decision-making process in the City of Sydney, working in the office of Councillor, Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Jess Miller. Working in a fast-moving political environment you’ll be responsible for correspondence, diary management. communications and office administration, within a small team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is organised, agile and prioritises tasks effectively
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly
  • Can provide excellent diary management, and day to day organisation.
  • Sound working knowledge of social media platforms

Prior experience and/or qualifications in administration and communications are required. Experience working in local, state or federal government is an advantage.
