Roles & Responsibilities

High-level Job Purpose Statement–

Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures. This includes addressing security breaches, troubleshooting security and network problems, and responding to system and/or network security breaches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities–

  • Safeguard the organization’s digital assets and infrastructure from potential threats and attacks.
  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
  • Troubleshooting security and network problems.
  • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
  • Collaborating with other departments to define security protocols and secure IT systems.
  • Examining computer code bases to eliminate common coding vulnerabilities.
  • Installing and configuring security appliances and applications.
  • Engineering security hardware to protect systems and installations.
  • Any other assignment by Direct Manager.

Minimum Requirements for the Role-

Qualifications

University Degree in IT or related field.

Masters Preferred

Experience- 5+ Years of experience; 2 Years of experience in a similar managerial role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-

Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent computer skills; In depth knowledge of MS Office. A strong understanding of cybersecurity methodologies and technologies, Ability to work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines. Working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting of the network. Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills. Fluent in English and Arabic
