Job Description

he Manager Accounts is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage audits and tax filings.
• Supervise and train accounting staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Requirements & Skills for Manager Accounts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial management, (preferably specialized in the spices category
• Experience in FMCG or spices companies is preferred).
• Hands-on experience to deal with Tax related authorities.
• Developing costing mechanisms for several products.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, with ERP experience is mandatory
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
