Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing and securing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in routing and switching, routing protocols, SD-WAN, and SASE frameworks, along with practical experience working with multiple vendor technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Arista and Aruba Central.

The engineer will be responsible for maintaining network performance, ensuring robust security posture, and supporting large-scale, multi-vendor environments that align with enterprise connectivity and security goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network and security solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Aruba Central platforms.
  • Implement and optimize SD-WAN solutions [Fortinet, Arista (previously VMware)] to enhance application performance and WAN resiliency.
  • Integrate SASE architectures, aligning SD-WAN with SSE capabilities for secure remote access and cloud security enforcement.
  • Maintain and optimize routing and switching infrastructure (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) across LAN/WAN environments.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, access control measures, and threat prevention mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network compliance and resilience.
  • Document network configurations, diagrams, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, security threats, and best practices in network and cloud security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise network and security engineering.
  • Strong command of routing and switching technologies (Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS).
  • In-depth understanding of SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE architectures and deployment models.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco (switches, routers, Meraki, FTDs)
    • Fortinet (FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
    • Palo Alto Networks (Next-Gen Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access)
    • Aruba Central (Switching, Wi-Fi, and cloud management)
  • Strong grasp of network security frameworks, VPNs, firewall policies, and zero-trust principles.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and security analytics tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, FortiAnalyzer, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and QoS.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Certifications (One or more):

  • Cisco: CCNP Enterprise / CCNP Security / CCIE (preferred)
  • Fortinet: NSE 4–7
  • Palo Alto Networks: PCNSE
  • Security+ / CISSP / SD-WAN or SASE vendor certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
