The Operations Control Officer (OCC Officer) is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and controlling daily flight operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient airline performance. This role acts as a central point of communication between flight crews, ground operations, maintenance, and air traffic control to handle any operational disruptions and maintain on-time performance in jobs in KSA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily flight schedules and operational status in real-time.
  • Coordinate with flight dispatchers, crew schedulers, maintenance, and ground handling teams.
  • Identify and resolve operational disruptions such as weather, delays, or technical issues.
  • Update stakeholders on flight status, delays, diversions, and irregular operations (IROPs).
  • Adjust flight schedules or reroute flights as necessary to minimize impact.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards and company procedures in aviation jobs in KSA.
  • Maintain clear and constant communication with pilots and crew members.
  • Prepare daily operations reports for management review.
  • Support crisis management and emergency response procedures when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational events and decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Air Transportation, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in flight operations, dispatch, or an OCC environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of airline operations, airspace, and flight planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced 24/7 operations environment.
  • Proficiency with airline operations software and flight tracking systems.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
