The Role:

Opportunities exist for experienced Patient Support Services Assistants to join our Support Services Team on Casual basis, at Northern Hospital. We are looking for reliable individuals who will demonstrate exemplary communication skills, a positive attitude, as well as a friendly and professional manner.

The successful applicant will possess and demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Ability to communicate with patients, other members of staff and members of the public with empathy and an appreciation of confidentiality
• Previous experience in the operation of commercial cleaning equipment
• Understanding of infection control cleaning processes within a healthcare environment
• Deliver excellent cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised
• The ability to plan and prioritise tasks
