Roles & Responsibilities

As a Voice Engineer at Kalaam Telecom, your primary purpose is to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cutting-edge voice communication solutions. You will be an integral part of our dynamic network engineering team, responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality voice services to our valued customers. Roles & responsibilities: • Handling technical communication with CST, NSA and other government entities in KSA • Engineering, deploying, and troubleshooting the telecommunications network infrastructure. • Administering, configuring, and implementing IP systems. • Providing technical escalation support for complex issues. • Ensuring adherence to all processes, procedures, and documentation requirements. • Serving as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for VoIP. • Taking ownership of the successful delivery of various concurrent projects of different scales. • Evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance the functionality of the voice network. • Offering subject matter expertise in collaborative cross-platform projects involving Network, Video, and Desktop teams. • Configuring and testing networking equipment, including routers and switches. • Installing and configuring devices to integrate into equipment racks. • Configuring networking solutions to meet specific requirements. • Conducting physical audits of equipment and accessories. • Applying asset tagging as per customer specifications. • Diagnosing and troubleshooting errors. • Ensuring accurate capture of all essential information. • Verifying hardware functionality and performance. • Collaborating directly with customers to meet their unique requirements. • Coordinating with product vendors and telecom service providers as necessary. • Fulfilling additional duties as assigned. • Developing proactive and preventive maintenance processes. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in computer (any division) Skills and Experience: Experience

3+ years experience in Network support

Skills • Demonstrated expertise in IP voice signaling, transport protocols, and codecs such as SIP, H.323, SCCP, RTP, G.711, and G.729. • Comprehensive understanding of network prerequisites for voice services, encompassing QoS, call admission control, security, and related aspects. • Familiarity with TDM voice protocols. • Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and effective problem-solving. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • A collaborative team player, leveraging the collective knowledge of the team to deliver optimal solutions. • Proactive in staying updated with rapidly evolving technologies and applying them to meet business requirements. • Skillful at prioritizing tasks, managing workloads, and completing assignments with minimal supervision, showcasing self-reliance and goal-oriented work. • Consistently meets commitments and deadlines, delivering results effectively. • Ability to engage and interact across diverse cultural contexts globally, engaging with colleagues at all levels during day-to-day operations. • Excellent time management and work prioritization abilities.
